      What oil type is used in my Forney compression machine?

      Note: The oil type used in most Forney compression machines at shipping is Dexron III Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF).

      Recommended Oil Types:

      • Dexron III Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF)
      • Dexron VI Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF)

      Recommended Oil Change Intervals:

      • The oil reservoir should be drained and refilled with clean oil annually. 
        • The frequency of oil changes depends on working conditions, usage, and system maintenance. 
      • Dexron III and Dexron VI can be used interchangeably if needed.
