What Happens if My Order Is Undeliverable and Returned to the Warehouse?

Occasionally, a shipment may be deemed undeliverable by FedEx and returned to our warehouse. Here’s how we handle those situations and what you can expect:

1. What Qualifies as an Undeliverable Order?

An order may be marked undeliverable for several reasons, including:

  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping address

  • Receiver unavailable at the time of delivery (if a signature is required)

  • Refusal of delivery by the recipient

  • Delivery access issues, such as a gated location without prior arrangements

2. What Happens When the Order Is Returned?

  • FedEx will return the package(s) to our warehouse.

  • Once received, we will process a return and issue a refund for the order minus:

    • A 25% restocking fee

    • Return shipping costs charged by the carrier

3. How to Receive Your Order After a Return

If you still need your items after the package is returned:

  • You will need to place a new order through the Forney Store.

  • Be sure to double-check your shipping address and delivery requirements to avoid another return.

4. How to Avoid Undeliverable Returns

  • Verify that your shipping address is accurate before completing checkout.

  • If your order requires a signature, ensure someone is available to receive it.

  • Provide special delivery instructions in the order notes if your location has access restrictions.
