If your Forney compression machine is showing the diagnostic “Drive Comm” follow these steps to diagnose and resolve the issue.
Diagnostic details can be obtained by pressing the “Diagnostics” button from the main screen.
- The “Drive Comm” diagnostic is commonly caused by a loose or missing connection between the HMI and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD). The VFD is located in the machine equipment cabinet. Please check that there is no damage and that the cable connected between the HMI and VFD is intact. If you discover a damaged cable, please contact Forney Support to identify the correct drive cable for your system.
2. Please restart the Forney Touchscreen. Shutting Down or Restarting Touchscreen
