If you scan a specimen label at the machine but don't complete the test for that specimen, and then scan a different label, the machine displays an alert.
WHY IT'S IMPORTANT
On a busy day, you might scan a concrete cylinder, put it in the machine, and then get distracted with something else. When you return to the machine, you scan the next specimen, thinking it's ready to test. This ForneyVault machine Smart Check displays an alert to tell you that you scanned a new specimen but didn't test the one you scanned previously. The machine catches a possible identification mistake before it happens.
HOW IT WORKS
This Smart Check alert is built into all ForneyVault enabled testing machines that also have specimen label scanners. Simply scanning a new label before testing the previously scanned label triggers the alert, as shown here:
