Printing Test Reports in ForneyLink

The ForneyLink® system allows you to print test reports either automatically after each test or manually for previous tests. Most modern printers are automatically recognized by the operating system, but some may require some help.

Connect a Keyboard

1. Plug a USB keyboard into one of the open USB ports on the ForneyLink display.

Set Default Printer on Forneylink (Windows 7)

1. Press the Windows key on the keyboard to open the Start Menu and press Devices and Printers

1. Touch the desired printer and press Shift + F10 to open the context menu. 
   
   
2. Press Set as Default Printer

Set Default Printer on Forneylink (Windows 10)

1. Open the Settings app by pressing Windows key + I on your keyboard.

2. Navigate to Devices. 
   
   

 

3. Select Printers & Scanners. 

 

 

4. Scroll down and disable Let Windows manage my default printer.

 

 

5. Select your desired printer. 

 

6. Press the Manage button. 

 

 

7. Select Set as default. 

 

Manually Print a Previous Test Report

1. Open the Forney testing software.

 

2. Click Generate Report Transfer.

 

 

3. Select Reprint a Previous Test Report.

 

 

4. Choose the desired Test ID from the list.

 

 

5. You can search a Test ID by name by pressing Search for Specimen.

 

6. Filter can be selected to filter results by age, date, and specimen type.

 

 

7. The report will print to the default printer.

Automatically Print Every Test Report

1. In the Forney testing software, navigate to the Machine Setup screen.

2. Go to the Options tab.

3. Check the box labeled Print Each Test.

Once enabled, the system will automatically print each test report upon completion.
