How to Retest a False Break Specimen?

ForneyLink includes a Break Type prompt that helps reduce the chance of saving incorrect results. When enabled, this prompt appears after each cube test.

Enable the Break Type Prompt

  1. In the ForneyLink Main Menu, make sure the option "Ask for Break Type?" is enabled prior to starting any test. 

  2. If something went wrong during the test, select the No Break -OR- Invalid button. 



    1. When prompted to record the results, select No to discard the invalid test results.

  3. Rerun the specimen's test.
