How to Show Specimen Age in Hours for Early Breaks

ForneyVault now allows you to display the specimen age in hours when the age is less than a user-defined threshold. This helps improve accuracy and compliance, especially for early-age breaks such as 8-hour or 12-hour specimens.

 

Note: 

•    This setting is user-specific and applies to how you view age in ForneyVault.
•    To reflect this change in your reports, please contact our team so we can update           your report templates.
•    This applies only to the Specimen Age field and does not alter the test data.

 

How to Enable:

  1. Log into ForneyTools.
  2. Click your user profile icon and select User Settings.



  3. Locate the field labeled "Display Age as Hours when Age is less than:"



  4. Enter the number of hours (e.g., 24 for one day).
  5. Click Save.

  6. ForneyVault will use this data in your Sample Reports when applicable.
