How do I generate reports in ForneyVault®?

ForneyTools® allows you to generate reports from your data in ForneyVault, enabling trackable, accurate results to be shared with your organization and customers.

Select Report Criteria

  1. After logging into ForneyTools, click the Reports link on the left navigation menu.
  2. Select Report Generator.

  3. From the Report Generator page, select the search criteria to generate your report.   


    1. Lab Name: Select an individual lab or all labs under your company to search.
    2. Date: Select Sample, Receive, or Test date to search records for your report. 
    3. Date Range: Select a date range based on a specific time frame or by custom range. 
    4. Sample Field Data Only: Include ONLY field data with no specimen or strength testing information in your report.
  4. Select the optional fields to filter the list: 
    1. Project Number: Allows you to filter the list by a specific project.
    2. Location Name: Filter the list by a specific Project Location. 
    3. Placement Number: Filter the list by Placement.
      1. You can choose a Placement Number without choosing any of the filters above.  If you choose one of the filters above, your list of Placements from which to choose will be reduced.
      2. You can create a Placement report, as described below.
    4. Sample Number: Filter the list by Sample.
      1. You can choose a Sample Number without choosing any of the filters above.  If you choose one of the filters above, your list of Samples from which to choose will be reduced.
      2. You can create a Sample report, as described below.
    5. Set Number: Filter the list by Set.
      1. You cannot choose a Set Number without choosing a Sample Number.
      2. Choosing a Set Number allows you to choose a Specimen Number for a Specimen report, as described below.
      3. For some specimen and test types, you can create a Set report, as described below.
  5. Select the required fields for your report type: 
    1. Placement Number: If you want to create a Placement report that includes multiple Samples, choose the Placement Number for your desired report.
    2. Sample Number: If you want to create a Sample report that includes multiple Specimens, choose the Sample Number for your desired report.
    3. Set Number: If you want to create a Set report that includes multiple Specimens (only available for certain specimen and test types), choose the Set Number for your desired report.
      1. You must choose a Sample Number before you can select a Set Number.
    4. Specimen Number: Choose a Specimen Number for which to create a Specimen Report.
      1. You must choose a Sample Number and a Set Number before you can select a Specimen Number.

Select Report Type: 

  1. Sample Report

     
    1. Design Age: Select the age for which you want to include the average strength of the tested specimens.  If you select no design age, no average strength will be included in the report.  If you select all design ages, the specimens will be split into multiple pages, with the average strength for the age on a page included.
    2. Create Report for Approval: Creates a report which requires approval from an authorized approver in ForneyVault. 
    3. Generate Report Now: Generates a PDF report with no approval required. 
  2. Placement Report:


    1.  Report for selected Placement: Generates a PDF report with no approval required.
  3. Set Report:


    1.  Report for Selected Set: Generates a PDF report with no approval required.  This report is only available for specific specimen and test types (currently only C1609 beam tests).
  4. Specimen Report:

    1. Report for Selected Specimen: Generates a PDF report with no approval required.
    2. Reports for all Specimens in Sample: Generates a ZIP file containing a PDF report for each specimen in the Sample with no approval required.
    3. CSV Data for Selected Specimen: Generates a comma-separate value file for importing into a 3rd party program (i.e., Excel). 

Create Sample Reports from Manage Sample 

 

  1. Select your desired Sample from the Manage Sample page.
  2. Select the PDF button at the top right to create a No Approval Needed Sample report.
