How Do I Create a Specimen Not Received Alert?

The Specimen Not Received alert notifies users when the lab has not received specimens within a specified timeframe.

  1. In ForneyTools, select Alerts > Configuration.
  2. Select Create.
  3. Select the Project the alert will apply to.
  4. For Type, select Specimen Not Received.



  5. Enter a Name for the alert.
  6. Enter the number of Hours before the alert should be sent.
  7. Select the Distribution Group that should receive the alert.
  8. Select Apply Definition.
