How Do I Configure STONEMONT To Comminucate With ForneyVault

This article explains how new Stonemont users can configure their profile so samples are communicated correctly with ForneyVault. Once configured, this setup ensures samples appear in the correct ForneyVault lab and are available at the ForneyVault-enabled machine for tracked testing as well as importing results back into Stonemont.

Step 1. Set Up Your User Settings in Stonemont

  1. Open User Settings
    1. Expand the Setup menu.

    2. Select User Settings.

  2. Connect Your Profile to Your ForneyVault Lab

    1. Select the Other tab.

    2. Select the brown arrow next to Labs to load your available ForneyVault labs.

    3. Choose the correct lab that matches your ForneyVault account and machine.

    4. Select Save.

 

Note: 

  • If the wrong lab is selected, samples will not show up in the right ForneyVault environment.

 

Step 2. Set Up Concrete Defaults in General Options

  1. Navigate to Concrete Settings

    1. Scroll to the bottom of the left menu.

    2. Select Settings.

    3. Select General Options.

    4. Select Concrete.

  1. Enter Default Specimen Dimensions

    1. Enter the standard cylinder size your lab casts.
  2. Set Break Ages

    1. Enter how many specimens are tested at each age using this format: [Age]:[Number] with different breakages separated by a comma (,).

       

      1. Example: 7:3,28:356:1

Step 3. Setup Auto ID Format

  1. Set Auto ID Format to Alt Sample Number. This ensures Stonemont sends the correct sample number to ForneyVault.
  2. Select Save if needed.

 

 

Export Data to ForneyVault 

Option 1. Export a Single Sample to ForneyVault

  1. Create the Test Entry

    1. Select Concrete Test.

    2. Select the plus (+)button to create a new entry.

  2. Enter Sample Information

    1. Fill out the form and make sure the Alt Sample ID is correct and the necessary specimens have been created. This becomes the sample number and specimens to be created in ForneyVault.
  3. Select the Concrete Cylinder icon at the top right of the Test Entry Page.

  4. Select the right brown arrow next to Sample No to export the sample.

Your sample will now appear in ForneyVault with its sets, specimens, dimensions, and expected strengths.

 

Option 2. Export Multiple Samples using Break Grid 

Note: 

  • This workflow lets you export multiple samples at once and pull your completed breaks back into Stonemont.
  1. Open the Break Grid

  2. Select Data Entry.

  3. Select Concrete Break Grid.

  4. Choose your plant locations.

  5. Select the red calendar icon to load the samples for the desired date range.

  6. Select the Export button (right arrow at the top right) to export all samples shown on the grid.

 

Import Completed Breaks

  1. After testing is completed in ForneyVault, return to the Break Grid and select the left arrow at the top right. This pulls all available results from ForneyVault back into Stonemont.

 

Note: 

  • User settings must be correct or samples will export to the wrong ForneyVault lab.

  • Specimen dimensions must be entered in Stonemont before export. Missing dimensions require manual input at the machine.

  • Stonemont does not allow re exporting samples.

  • Specimen dimensions and expected strengths from Stonemont must be accurate to avoid machine errors.
