      ForneyLink® Display Legend

      The ForneyLink display provides you with all of the options needed to manage the testing of your ForneyVault® specimens.

      ForneyLink on an automatic machine.

       

       

      1 Start Test Start selected test 19 Machine Setup Enter the Machine Setup menu. 
      2 Stop Test Stop Selected test. 20 Reprint Test Report Reprint tested specimen report. 
      3 Sample Manage Sample menu. 21 Measure Measurement menu for the selected specimen. 
      4 Set Displays selected Set. 22 DiamAVg The average diameter of the specimen. 
      5 Specimen A quick selection of the specimens in a set.  23 LenghtAvg The average length of the specimen.
      6 Manage Manage specimens in selected sets.  24 Age Age of specimen to be tested. 
      7 Load View load placed on the specimen. 25 Weight Weight of Specimen
      8 Stress View Stress placed on the specimen. 26 Density The measured density of the specimen to be tested. 
      9 Max Load Max load placed on the specimen. 27 Corr. Factor ASTM defined correction for specimen size.
      10 Max Stress Max stress placed on the specimen. 28 Ends Prep Specimen ends preparation to be used in the test. 
      11 Ramp Rate Display of specified speed for testing the specimen. 29 Exp. Strength Display of specimen's expected strength. 
      12 Test Counter Count of tests performed.  30 Preload Set the load applied to the specimen prior to achieving the specified ramp rate.
      13 Jog Advance Move the machine piston forward.  31 Ramp Rate Set the specified speed for testing the specimen.
      14 Retract Move the machine piston backward. 32 Break Pct. Select stress percentage from max stress to detect break.
      15 Show Graph Show stress vs time graph of tested specimen.  33 Test Stop Stop the test at a specific load, stress, or position (on position-equipped machines) instead of loading to specimen failure.
      16 Logout Log the current user off ForneyLink. 34 Ask for Break Type?  Enable prompt for break type after the test completes. 
      17 Diagnostics Enter the diagnostic menu.  35 Language Menu Select ForneyLink's displayed language.
      18 Verify Calibration Enter the Machine Calibration menu.
